St. Paul's Catholic Church Parking Lot and Bell Tower

New parking lot and bell tower construction

Start: 2008Completed: 2008Religious / Site Work

Project Overview

Following the successful sanctuary renovation, SDF Contracting returned to St. Paul's Catholic Church to complete a complementary site and structure project. This scope addressed two distinct but related needs for the parish: expanded, properly developed parking and the construction of a new bell tower that would serve as an enduring landmark for the church and its surrounding neighborhood.

Site work for the parking lot included grading, subbase preparation, curb installation, and final paving. Landscaping was coordinated to integrate with existing church grounds and to meet any applicable city requirements. Drainage was addressed throughout to ensure long-term performance of the paved surfaces.

The bell tower construction required careful attention to both structural requirements and aesthetic compatibility with the existing church building. The finished structure reflects the kind of quality and permanence appropriate for a religious institution with deep roots in the St. Petersburg community.
